Running 101 class is every Monday or Wednesday evenings
6:00-7:00 PM & every Sunday from 8:00- 9:00am.
Focus is to help a beginning level runner enjoy and improve
their running. It’s great for either a new or returning
runner/athlete. We will literally get you back on your toes! If you
have been injure before or have experienced running related injuries,
we can help make you stronger and teach you exercises to prevent
further injury. Even if you can only jog/run for only 30-60 seconds
we will help you get to the finish line of a 5k; this is where it starts!
We also have created a program and exercise plan that will help all
our running clients bridge walking into running, helping them make
that jump forward.
Our program 8-weeks. Program will help gradually increase your
running volume, proper running technique, exercises to prevent injury,
strength exercises, help you stay in shape, and show you how to run.
After the 8-weeks you will be able to complete 5K or 10K (3.1miles or
6.2miles) race without stopping.
DETAILS (Things to know)
1) Two one-hour sessions per week.
2) We encouraged attending at least 1 session weekly.
3) Every client receives plan on what to do on their own or when they miss.
4) Sessions will combine endurance work, speed work, and drills.
5) Although we will help with conditioning this is about RUNNING.
6) You will receives an Injury Prevention Gait Analysis & corrective action plan.
7) Once you complete Running 101 class, repeat it or move on to Running 201
or Customized Training Program to help you reach another goal and challenge.
New participant in Running 101 $139 for an 8-week session.
*Includes up to 16 coached group sessions
*You may not attend them all, but do the best you can.
* Try to attend at least one session/week.
*You will receive a Participant Pack & Running Team T-shirt.
Running 101 Fall Session Dates/Sites
Location TBD, depending on demand. Session run continuously.
Feel free to drop in and check out a program any time.
BUT if you do come please email or call us so that we can send you simple
participation form. Sessions may fill, so advance registration is suggested.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We prioritize your safety and seek to maximize your
learning and development as an athlete as you participate in Running 101
and all group training programs. Thus, depending on the situation, we
may require that participants leave their iPods behind while in class.
