Testimonials

Since starting the Fit Potato Boot Camp for Women, I have become stronger and have lost weight (63 lbs). I initially started the camp after having my second child. I had back-to-back pregnancies and had become weak and inactive. When I first started the camp, I was only able to do 100 crunches, walk the mile, run one lap, and do 25 push-ups.

Since working out with Coach Gomez, I have improved my reps to 1,000 crunches (plus), I can now run a 5-K, sprints, hold a plank position, use arm bands, free weights, and can do 90 (plus) push-ups.
I am feeling better about my self-image and feel stronger than I have felt in several years.

Becoming active again has served as a release from daily stress and I have met fun people to work out with. I know that I am making a good investment for my health and am serving as a good example for my friends and family. Coach Gomez is a great mentor. He is very personable, genuine, and really tries to get the best out of each of his clients. I am so happy to have found the Fit Potato!

When I first came to Coach, I was skeptical. How could he help me, a 5'4, middle aged mommy with 100 pounds to lose? My rap sheet of failed diets and attempts at exercise regimens was long. My closet was full of clothes I couldn't wear and I felt embarrassed about how I looked and who I'd become. After having one baby, and then two years later a set of twins, my weight was out of control. As timed passed and my babies grew, I could no longer use pregnancy weight as an excuse. I began to feel that maybe I was just destined to live my life as a fat woman.

On a wish and a prayer and a first meeting with Coach where he put me at ease, I began early morning group workouts with the Fit Potato. After the first session I was hooked. Though I had never been an early riser and was worried that it would be hard to commit to, I was so energized. I loved the fact that no matter what my day turned out like, I had already logged a great workout. Nothing could get in the way and compete for the time. The group of women working out with me were at all different fitness levels and I was impressed that Coach didn't take a one-size-fits-all approach with us. He spent time with each woman and determined what we needed individually to be successful. This created a non-competitive environment and one in which we encouraged and supported each other. I look forward to my workouts every day!

For the first two months, I was physically unable to run. Since that time, I've grown stronger, lost weight gone down 3 dress and pant sizes, run in 4 5K races, made my doctor quite happy and am transforming into a different person. Before I started with Coach, I had made the decision to never diet again. My success has been made sweeter by the fact that I've made these strides without dieting. Dieting gave me a strange relationship with food. With exercise and Coach's help, I'm returning to a healthy approach to eating.

Coach has been dependable as a trusted adviser. His advice is perceptive and spot-on. Sometimes I find that he sees things in me that I don't. When I think I can't perform a task, he encourages me and I discover that I can do it! Coach is also very flexible with inevitable schedule changes and very giving of his time. Thank you Coach for your guidance and helping me along the path to health and wellness!
